For seven seasons, I have managed to avoid watching a single episode of American Idol. Now, because of my job, I have to. So last night I watched the season premiere. And you know what? It wasn't bad. I actually really liked it. There were some amazing singers singing some good songs, and the bad singers weren't so much embarrassing as hysterical.
