Fast, Furious and Unnecessary

Is any sequel really "necessary"? Yes. Some are. In fact, I would say a lot are. But just as many are not. Take the new Vin Diesel movie Fast & Furious, the third (!) sequel to The Fast and the Furious. I haven't seen it yet, but I can promise you that it is as unnecessary as the last two sequels. I ran down ten of the most unnecessary sequels ever made at MoviesWithoutPity.com, and you may be surprised to see what's up there.

Fast & Furious: Another Unnecessary Sequel

I may be in the minority on this but I actually liked Tokyo Drift. It was very good for what it was suppsed to be.

I will admit to not seeing F&F 2 or 3, mostly because no Vin Diesel. Tokyo Drift might as well have been a totally different, non F&F movie. Now, this new one is too little, too late. Diesel should never have left the franchise, or XXX for that matter -- he could have been in Jason Statham's spot right now, with Transporter and Crank. Instead, he did that courtroom drama and that awful Riddick movie. Bleargh.
